THE COMMERCIAL ROOFING INDUSTRY FINALLY HAS A NETWORK.

Roofing Authority Network is a live broadcast network built for the people who actually run commercial roofing — contractors, building owners, facility managers, estimators and specifiers. Not a trade show. Not a newsletter. A network.

Why this exists.

Commercial roofing is a serious industry that still communicates like it is 1985. Trade publications, trade shows, brochures, and a handshake at a booth in Orlando once a year. Meanwhile the way buyers actually find answers has completely changed underneath it.

A facility manager researching a roof replacement does not open a magazine. A specifier writing an assembly does not call a rep first. They search, they watch, and increasingly they ask an AI system — and that system answers from transcripts, video, and structured content it can read. Whoever owns the citable library of this industry controls how commercial roofing gets discovered, specified, sourced and trusted.

Right now, nobody owns it. There is no daily broadcast for commercial roofing. The closest things are weekly podcasts, event livestreams, and residential-leaning content aimed at a completely different buyer. The 15M to 50M commercial contractor has been talked past for twenty years.

RAN is being built to be the record of this industry, not another place to advertise in it.

What the network actually is.

Four layers. The show is the front door. The rest is what makes it compound.

01

Broadcast

Live shows across 40 industry channels, each one owned by an operator with real standing in their lane. Netflix-dark UI, cinematic show pages, episode libraries built to be watched and to be found. The flagship is The Tie-In, anchored by John Kiesel.

02

Intelligence

Every episode feeds a machine-readable layer: the Verdict Engine extracts source-cited claims from transcripts, the Signal Index tracks market conditions, the Compliance Ledger holds code, warranty and insurance briefs, and Ask the Network answers questions from the library itself.

03

Network

Channel Partners, Show Partners, sponsors and the Talent Board. Independent industry shows can hire the network as their production and distribution home without giving up ownership. Division 7 Roofing is the founding Channel Partner.

04

Infrastructure

An MCP server, a knowledge graph, and direct LLM integration — so the network's content is available to AI systems as structured data instead of hoping a crawler figures it out. Developers can build against it.

Who is building it.

A commercial roofing operator and a media operator. The industry knowledge and the production system, in the same room from day one.

John Kiesel

Vertical Principal

John Kiesel

President of Division 7 Roofing and the founding voice of the network. John built a commercial roofing operation that commands respect at every level of the industry, and he brings the actual thing rather than a polished conference version of it. He anchors The Tie-In and sets the editorial standard for what belongs on a network built for contractors.

Keith Bilous

Platform Partner

Keith Bilous

Founder of MiTL Studio and the platform side of the network. Keith builds live broadcast systems, production pipelines and AI infrastructure that let a single industry expert publish like a media company. RAN is one vertical inside the broader Live Authority Network he is building on the same chassis.

How we operate.

Three rules that are not negotiable, because a network built on this industry has to be trusted by it.

The Safety Gate

Every image, video, thumbnail and piece of key art passes a fall-protection review before it ships. If a roof edge is visible, there is a four-foot parapet, a guardrail, or a visible tie-off. No exceptions, on any surface. If a working roofer would not do it, we do not show it.

The Consent Register

Nobody's name, photo, likeness or voice appears on this network without written consent on file. Verbal alignment is not consent. Anyone still in process shows as TBA. A sponsorship does not buy the right to put a third party on screen.

No invented numbers

We report what happened. No promised impressions, no guaranteed reach, no audience figures we cannot stand behind. Claims made on air get extracted, sourced and timestamped — including ours.

The shape of it.

A MiTL Studio production. Roofing Authority Network is one vertical inside the Live Authority Network — the same broadcast, intelligence and distribution chassis applied to industries that have been underserved by their own media for decades.

The industry is going to have a network either way.

The only open question is who is in the room while it gets built. Channel seats, show partnerships and sponsorships are open now.
